Kenna Kay is a Creative Director in a wide range of design disciplines with a focus on communication design, brand strategy and design thinking. She is the founder of The Kay Project, a design and communications strategy consultancy in New York City. Previously she was the V.P. Creative Director of Brand at TV Land, MTV Networks and Creative Director at Nickelodeon. She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University. She served on the National Board of Directors of AIGA, the professional association for design, and is currently on the faculty of the School of Visual Arts, Masters of Brand, and the Strategic Communications Program in the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University.
Gwen Hyman was the longtime Director of the Center for Writing at The Cooper Union. She’s taught writing and literature to thousands of students, and she’s helped countless teachers develop their practices. She has published four books, including the writing handbook Thinking on the Page: A College Student’s Guide to Effective Writing. Gwen specializes in helping professionals of all types craft clear, concise, purpose-driven writing that speaks to readers and achieves goals. Her client list includes marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, restaurant and hospitality executives, not-for-profit specialists, and academic faculty. She earned a PhD at Columbia University.
Catherine Mevs is a strategy director with experience in both traditional and digital advertising and branding. She has developed campaigns and conducted consumer research for clients like Amazon, Intel, GE, Bank of America and more. In addition to her work in advertising, Catherine is a teaching associate at Columbia University for courses in Persuasive Presenting and Strategic Storytelling. She has a Bachelor's in English and Creative Writing from Princeton University and a Master’s in Strategic Communication from Columbia University.
